​Tropical climate all year round
The climate of the Dominican Republic is pleasant most of the year. Of a tropical type, it has the advantage of being tempered by the trade winds, which allows you to enjoy warm but not suffocating temperatures. In winter, it can even get chilly there at night, especially in the mountains! Beyond the months of September to November during which hurricanes can occur, it is possible to travel on the island throughout the year, and to bathe in water whose temperature oscillates between 26 and 28°C.

Over the past ten years, health care has improved dramatically in the Dominican Republic. It is certainly far more advanced than the systems in other neighboring countries.
The services offered by health providers in the Dominican Republic are more affordable than in Europe or the United States.
In recent years, more and more health tourists, mainly from Europe and the United States, come to the Dominican Republic for dental treatment and especially for cosmetic surgery. These medical fields are considered very well suited and offer much better value for money than those practiced in Europe or the United States.
Health care in the Dominican Republic has a two-tier system. Health care offered by the government which is free but which is limited to general medicine and first class private clinics, which offer the latest technologies and methods, qualified and experienced personnel.
